In accordance with the academic schedule and the specific circumstances of the University, the winter vacation arrangements for graduate students for the first semester of the 2025-2026 academic year are hereby announced as follows:

I. Winter Vacation Schedule for Graduate Students‌

1. All currently enrolled graduate students will observe winter vacation from January 31, 2026, to March 1, 2026‌. ‌On-campus registration will take place on March 2, 2026.‌

2. The specific time and location for their ‌on-campus registration will be announced separately‌.

3. These arrangements are subject to change based on any subsequent notices issued by USTC or IMR.‌

II. Important Reminders‌

1. All graduate students are urged to prioritize personal safety and property security during the vacation period.‌ Students must return to IMR by the designated date. Those unable to return due to exceptional circumstances ‌must seek prior approval from the Graduate School‌. ‌Failure to return on time without authorization will be handled according to the "Implementation Rules for Disciplinary Actions against Students of the University of Science and Technology of China".‌

2. The schedule for ‌online registration‌ will be announced separately, ‌aligned with the specific arrangements of USTC‌.
